Welcome to Broward College IT & Engineering Tutoring portal!
This service is for on-campus students only.

To get started, register for an account by accessing the "Register for an account" link on the left.

Step 1: Register for an account using your BC email (new users only).

Step 2: Enter your login credentials, select Campus from Available Schedules, and press LOG IN.

Step 3: Select a course in the dropdown menu on the right to sort tutors by course, then select a tutor, date, and time for the appointment in the calendar.

Step 4: In the Appointment form: Select the professor's name from the dropdown menu, enter the course reference number and "What do you like to work on today" information, and select the Course ID from the dropdown menu (if you don't see your course ID this tutor does not assist in that course, please select another tutor). 

Step 5: Upload files that you like the tutor to look at. Please note the supported file formats. Any programming code will need to be saved in .txt format.

Available Services:

  • One-on-one tutoring appointments (virtual tutoring)

Important Reminders:

  • File sharing available (maximum 2 MB per document)
  • Enable your camera and microphone for a better experience
  • To cancel an appointment, click on it and select Cancel
  • This service is for on-campus students only. Online students need to use tutors.com from D2L under resources.

The IT&Eng Tutoring Lab can help students with any Computer Science course and assignment.  
 For all general course information and details, please get in touch with your professor.  

 IT&Eng Tutors Can:  

  • Provide assistance with Computer Science courses and assignments.  
  • Provide guidance on how to solve problems. 
  • Assist in accessing and using Learning Resources. 

 IT&Eng Tutors Cannot:  

  • Provide answers to assignments.  
  • Complete a student’s homework or assignments.  

 Students are responsible for:  

  • Seeking out the instructor during their office hours for assistance with assignments. 
  • Attempting assignments and exploring resources prior to requesting tutoring. 

No-Show Policy:

  • Students can cancel an appointment at any time by logging into the scheduling system.
  • Students will be marked as a No-Show after 15 minutes from the appointment start time
  • Student accounts will be deactivated after 2 No-Shows. To reactivate an account, contact Ester Sims at esims1@broward.edu
